The Ellenbrook community was rocked last week, by the unprovoked and vicious attack on a young boy by another teenager, in the middle of the day at the local shopping centre, in full view of other shoppers. The young victim suffered multiple injuries, many of which will take months, if not years, to heal.
His father John has opened a gofundme account to raise money to help with his long journey of recovery.
‘Hi my name is John, I am raising funds for the expected future medical, dental and psychological my son will need after being brutally attacked in Ellenbrook Central Shopping Centre on Wednesday 02/04/25.
My son was at the local shopping centre with friends when he was struck in a premeditated coward punch (hit from behind) and stomped on. He has then fallen face first into the hard ground and proceeded to have a seizure. After being admitted to hospital it has been discovered that he has two fractures to his jaw (1 requiring surgery the other the surgeons are going to watch as it is in an inoperable location) and mild bruising and bleeding on his brain.
The extent of the long lasting effects of these injuries are not yet known.
My fun loving quiet boy may need extra psychological help to assist him with PTSD and the potential movement into a private school (out of area) to assist him move on.
I am raising funds to assist him with future expenses for medical and psychological support, assistance for the family for incidental expenses whilst he is in hospital and fighting for the justice he deserves as I am simply a disabled pensioner and cannot do this alone!
